Job Description

Schedule:  Monday through Friday 8 am - 5 pm 

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to
the Regional Material Manager; this position will focus on supporting our
materials management team with training; cultural evolution; standardization of
systems and adoption of efficient processes within the areas we manage in the
Materials Management organization.  They will collaborate with the
Warehouse Lean Supply Supervisors to drive implementation of lean supply
management principles within the organization including on-boarding and
continues front line employee training, continuous improvement for the
materials management organization, support for all new site activity and
interaction with the laboratory staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)    
Provide training and end-user support on the use of Material Management
software and provide technical assistance as needed including new hire
training.

2) As a Super User, assist the Materials Management staff in troubleshooting
system problems and make recommendations for  improvements.

3) Insure on-time delivery of orders by managing open orders, backorders, to support
the hospital structure within our organization.

4) Collaborate with Lean Supply supervisors to conduct and participate in continues
improvement activities.  Assist in the
standardization of processes in receiving, shipping, warehousing and materials
management operations.

5) Assist and support the Lean Supply Supervisor with new site start-ups.

6) Assist in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Material Management
system.

7) Comply with all applicable and current Materials and Services Management, Human
Resources, Employee Health and Safety, Compliance, OSHA, CLIA, etc. policies
and procedures.

8) Be flexible to travel on short notice to support the Materials Management team at any of the SE locations to lead resolution of any gaps identified within our organization. 

9)  Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION

Associate
degree or higher in business or supply chain management

EXPERIENCE

Three or more
years of materials management inventory experience.
