Provide release management capabilities to product, services and platform agile and non-agile teams to enable shift left release management mindset.  The individual will provide release-on-demand expertise to optimize overall release management efforts for Health Care solutions and enable efficient software. Design, develop and execute release management process in enterprise release management platform and validate environment dependency and quality of overall release. The individual will closely work with Product, development, DevSecOps, SRE, operation and security and agile teams.


  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduces overall effort required to manage a release cycle for agile and non agile process.
  • Build single pane of glass for release management and application environment landscape.
  • Provide technical leadership for every aspect of release management process. 
  • Develop and manage release management and application environment roadmaps.
  • Partner with DevSecOps, Application support, SRE, development, Agile and Change Management teams to establish the practices, guideline for release management process 
  • Establish and install release management standards and processes along with best practices.
  • Drive release execution improvements that result in deployment efficiencies, including automation of manual processes to reduce overall technical debet.
  • Perform regular quality and design reviews to ensure the team is attaining business outcome and provide regular updates to Leadership team. 
  • Participate in PI planning to accomplish technical and business objectives. 
  • Have a proactive mindset to drive change, question assumptions and push for innovative solutions. Be a change agent to lead automate everything and measure everything mindset. 
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of DevSecOps, agile and scrum methodologies and mentor others in their use. 
  • Provides some mentorship support to junior level release managers.
  • Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality and time to market imperatives and facilitates cross team collaboration at every stage of SDLC.
  • Report weekly status of application env management and release management to leadership team. 
  • Communicate organization strategy and goals to the release management and application environment teams so they understand the “why” behind what they are striving for.  

Required Work Experience: 

  • Approx 2 years of experience in software engineering process. 
  • DevSecOps, Cloud and Agile experience Experience in leading Release Management at enterprise level for HealthCare solutions.
  • Experience in orchestration, and system configuration tools (Gitlab, Confluence, Jira) and release management tool (e.g Plutora)
  • Experience in building the release management teams from scratch. 

Preferred Work Experience: 

  • Experience in public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud). 
  • Experience in analytics tools

  • Release management ,API, Github, Testing automation, DevSecOps, monitoring, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), monitoring
