JOB SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for receiving, retrieving, maintaining, and cataloging of all laboratory records requested by authorized third parties and as needed by corporate and business units employees. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive & log boxes for storage
  • Act as liaison between BU unit and long term storage vendors
  • Receive and process subpoenas, record requests
  • Prepare responsive documents for delivery to requestors (locate, reprint archived lab reports, medical records)
  • Maintain/organize departmental records, contracts, files
  • Business Unit Subject Matter Expert on PHI requests, PHIT database entry, Privacy related auditing and monitoring
  • Assist in deployment of compliance related training, including New Hire Orientation Program, Annual Training, and other as defined by the Legal/Compliance Department
  • Document and track employee completion of required Compliance related training
  • Review and process request for test order translations, custom requisitions
  • Assist in facilitating and completing customer needs assessment requirements for Health Fair and Research Agreements
  • Support departmental requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS   

Education

Required: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: 

  • Associates Degree in Business or Science. 
  • Paralegal training is desirable. 
  • Comparable related experience may be substituted.
