Schedule:  Monday thru Friday with Saturday rotation. Hours are to TBD

JOB SUMMARY:
• The primary function of the Receptionist for Quest Diagnostics in Larkspur Ca is to answer and direct calls to appropriate parties, registers all visitors.
• Greet clients, visitors, and colleagues from other Quest Diagnostics Locations.  
• Possess an excellent command of the English language along with proficiency in grammar and strong vocabulary aptitude 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Handling switchboard calls with internal employees and outside customers
2. Interact with all levels of employees 
3. Greet visitors, clients and guests 
4. Ordering and maintaining supplies 
5. Maintaining sign in log for visitors and employees who forgot their badge 
6. Handling maintenance and reading meters on all copiers 
7. Check attendance line and record absences on the daily calendar
8. Check TU extensions for voice mails. Email information to the supervisors and group leads.
9. Handle all supplies for birthday recognition 
10. Maintain employee vehicle data 
11. Maintain the neatness of the reception area 
12. Creating new hire packets 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Preferred:   High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience: 2-4 years work experience preferred

OTHER:
Excellent Communications written and spoken in the English language.  
General administrative skills.  
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.  
Able to be a self-starter
