Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Main Duties: The Marketing Specialist will be the internal resource and expert for the company’s marketing needs. Position will be responsible for coordinating client and patient marketing projects under the direction of the Company. The specialist will also function as the Company’s social media expert and video production coordinator. The position will support the entire company with a primary focus on support of our commercial sales.


Required Knowledge:

Social Media: Support the creation and monitoring of DLO’s social media presence to increase engagement and educate the market on DLO products and services.

Online Reputation: Assist in monitoring patient and client reviews on social media and other online reputation platforms (Google, Yelp, etc.) and develop processes for increased engagement activity.

Video Production: Produce educational videos on DLO’s processes and promotional videos for Company branding.

Website: Develop and maintain rotating content calendar, provide monthly analytics summary, and update the site as directed.

Graphic Design: Provide graphic design support as requested for rebranding, creation of independent DLO sales literature, invitations, internal posters and communications, and other materials.

Tradeshows: Plan and maintain a calendar of tradeshows, communicate with sales team, and ensure proper staffing. Keep inventory of all displays and materials, work with vendors to ensure best quality and price on all new displays and materials.  Full responsibility for registrations and organizing DLO’s attendance and participation at shows.

Special Projects: Assist in projects such as photo shoots, sales meetings, and other events as requested.

Marketing Expertise: Advises company leadership on trends, marketing options and best practices.

  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; multitasking and time management required
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Solid PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (including v lookup skills, pivot tables and graphing), PowerPoint and Access.
  • All requirements are subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.

Required Experience:

  • Video production, preferably with Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign
  • Basic HTML knowledge for website maintenance and email marketing campaigns
  • Ability to write copy for various blog and education articles
  • Manage online reputation for company
  • Administer social media accounts
  • 1-2 years of experience in similar role preferred
  • Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
  • Strong personal belief in the importance of Customer Service.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work as a team
  • Exhibits extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access skills.
  • Professional phone skills
  • Time management skills to facilitate the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time with speed and accuracy.


Special Requirement: Work hours may vary based on special events such as bids, conventions, and tradeshows.

Physical Requirements: The person must be able to sit (or stand) for long periods of time
