Job Description

Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Tucker, GA seeks a Business Systems Analyst to Act
as facilitator and liaison between the Business and IT departments for all
aspects of business and products changes. Drive the creation of business
requirements documentation, contribute to subject matter expertise, and support
user acceptance testing. Communicate identified risks and collaborate in
developing mitigation strategies. Ensure timely escalation of project related
risks/issues to the project team. Elicit requirements using a variety of
methods including interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops,
surveys, site visits, and case, scenario and business workflow analysis.
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts,
decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level
information to a general understanding to discern user needs and key
requirements. Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and
external customers) and the software development team through which
requirements flow. Communicate and collaborate with internal customers to
analyze information and business workflow to deliver functional requirements,
use cases, and user interface designs. Serve as primary IT business analyst on
one or more large scope projects, mentor junior team members, and participate in
project planning activities.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related technical field, plus 2 years of IT Business Analysis experience within a health care setting, which must include using To-Be Gap Analysis; serving as the Primary Business Analyst on at least one large scope project including multiple BA’s; using various tools such as Balsamiq or Microsoft to define
screen layouts incorporating UI/UX principles; preparing visual presentations
of business workflows using tools such as JIRA, CA Rally, or TechnoSolutions
Top Team; using Agile and Waterfall Software Development Methodologies; and
working with SQL databases.
