Job Description

Quest Diagnostics Inc in Lenexa, KS seeks Senior
Business Analyst to liaise between business and IT departments for all aspects
of business and product changes, and to understand the scope, solutions,
constraints, and risks of system changes within a clinical laboratory
environment. Utilize knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies to drive
the creation of business requirements documentation, contribute to subject
matter expertise, and support user acceptance testing. Communicate identified
risks and collaborate in developing mitigation strategies. Ensure timely
escalation of project related risks/issues to the project team. Elicit
requirements using a variety of methods including interviews, document
analysis, requirement workshops, surveys, site visits, and case, scenario and
business workflow analysis. Serve as the conduit between the customer community
(internal and external customers) and the software development team through
which requirements flow. Use data flow diagrams, UML, and User Story to develop
requirement specifications according to standard templates. Conduct large-scale
enterprise level software development using Scrum methodology. Serve as primary
IT business analyst on one or more large scope projects, supervise junior team
members, and participate in project planning activities. Bachelor’s degree (or
foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related
technical field, plus 8 years of software development experience with all
phases of SDLC. Experience must include 8 years of using data flow diagrams and
UML; 5 years using Waterfall, and Agile and User Story creation in a Scrum
environment; 5 years of experience in IT Business Analysis related to health
care business and large-scale enterprise level software development using Scrum
methodology; 3 years working in a clinical laboratory environment. Send resume
